Cassandra Jeffries

Cassandra currently serves as Director of Student Ministries at Faith Community Church and School. She also teaches high school English, Science, and Art as well as devotionals at Faith Community Christian School. In addition to these primary roles, she serves on the Trustees Committee of the church focusing on decorative landscapes for the church grounds. Cassandra answered the call of Jesus Christ in the 2^nd grade and was baptized at the age of 12. She graduated with honors from Greenwood Christian Academy in 2005 and went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009 from Anderson University, where she majored in English and minored in Theater.

Cassandra has a very artistic personality and in her free time, she enjoys turning broken vintage jewelry into upcycled jewelry. She repurposes broken jewelry for a new life in the same way Jesus repurposed her for a new life of service to Him. She also enjoys gardening and manages a large garden plot on her father’s property and sells fresh produce with her mother at the Greenwood Farmer’s Market. Cassandra has expressed multiple times that serving in the church and school are literally dreams come true and she thanks God every day.

Fun Fact: Cassandra’s current Pastor, Pastor Steve Nanney was also her Bible teacher and choir teacher at Greenwood Christian Academy.
